The Coir discs are the all-natural growing medium that sit in your growing Pods. Replacements come in a pack of 4. Simply add 250ml of water, wait for the coir to expand then plant your chosen seeds. Coir is a 100% natural byproduct of growing coconuts. It's eco-friendly and has a high water retention capability - perfect for growing in Pods.

Coir is an all-natural growing medium with high water retention characteristics. Perfect for filling large pots and raised garden beds.  Use with cuttings, seed raising, microgreens, wheatgrass & hydroponics. Adding 5L of water makes 9-10L of coir. 

Coir is a 100% natural & biodegradable by-product of growing coconuts. Hy-Gen coir is of the highest grade and most suitable for growing plants. Lower quality coir will contain higher levels of salt and pH imbalances that will impact on your plant growth. 

 

The UrbiPod's Disc wicking system works like magic - drawing water from the UrbiPod base into the growing Pod's reservoir and then into the coir to keep the plant irrigated. No pumps. No gadgets. No electricity. Just physics.
