The UrbiPod Base features the same design, self-watering and automatic nutrient delivery features as the full UrbiPod model, however it's sold without a growing light, power adapter or growing pods. 

The UrbiPod Base is ideal for using outdoors and inter-changing your pods with  your indoor UrbiPod.
